2. Next using Finger Sweets Nail polish in Little Red Dress apply two coats around the half circle. Apply 2 coats.

My particular fave shade is there Anne nail polish, a beautiful shade of  greenish grey, purple and shimmer…Perfection!  So if you want to splurge on a bottle and want a super cool and unique shade I would definitely suggest them.

One question I often receive that always seems to surprise me, is how to properly apply nail polish.  I guess I assumed that most are aware of how to apply and get the most of there nail polish.  The question is not only how to apply, but how to get the longest wear, and get there nails and nail polish looking its best.  Now in order to get your nails and your nail polish looking like it was done by a professional there are several nail supplies you will be needing: Nail file, nail polish remover, q-tip, base coat, nail polish, top coat.

• It is important that before you apply your nail polish, that you prep your nails.  You want to make sure that there are no traces of nail polish from your previous manicure on them,  if there is you might want to take nail polish remover and remove any nail polish.  Next you want to make sure that your nails are shaped nicely and to your likely, for this you can use a nail file to get that perfect shape.

• Now this is a very important step which I think a lot of people neglect.  When you put on your favorite nail polish or have a great nail art design on your nails, one thing your concerned about is how long it will last.  In order to get the longest wear from your nail polish you MUST apply a base coat polish.  You apply the base coat polish on your clean nails, let it dry, and then apply your favorite nail polish.  This acts as a sort of sticker which make the nail polish stick on to the nails better, and increases how long it can be worn without chipping.

• Next you can apply your nail polish color.  You always need to apply a minimum of 2 coats of nail polish, the first coat is the foundation then the next coat should be applied evenly and look solid because this is the coat that will be showing.  No need to worry about applying the nail polish perfectly, it is actually better that you get the corners and edges even if it gets on to your finger and your skin.  This can be removed later on.

• Next apply a top coat nail polish on top, this will seal in the polish and give you a longer wear.  Also the top coat adds a great shine to your nail polish.

• Lastly you want to clean up the edges of your nails( any nail polish that may be on your finger) using a q-tip, and nail polish remover.  Allow your nails to dry at least 15minutes, then Enjoy
